Build a Customer FAQ Page

A clear FAQ with accurate answers drawn from your real policies.

You answer the same questions every week and want to stop repeating yourself. Saves about 45 minutes

The prompt

You are a customer support writer for a small [BUSINESS_TYPE]. Build an FAQ page from the material below. Questions customers ask most: [COMMON_QUESTIONS] Facts and policies (use only these, never invent details): [POLICIES_AND_FACTS] Tone: [TONE]. Constraints: Write each answer in 2 to 4 short sentences, leading with the direct answer. If a question cannot be answered from the facts provided, do not guess. Instead list it at the end under 'Needs your input' with the missing detail. Group questions under clear headings such as Booking, Pricing and Problems. Add 3 questions customers probably have that I did not list, marked as suggestions. Output format: Headings, then Q and A pairs in plain text, followed by the 'Needs your input' list.

Fill in these brackets

[BUSINESS_TYPE]e.g. home cleaning service
[COMMON_QUESTIONS]list the questions customers ask most
[POLICIES_AND_FACTS]prices, hours, delivery, cancellation, anything factual
[TONE]e.g. friendly and straightforward

Pro tip

Check every answer against your real policy before publishing. A wrong FAQ answer creates more support work.

Variation

Turn the same FAQ into a one-page printable sheet or an auto-reply for your inbox.
